On Thursday evening , December 11, as part of the concluding conference of the Horizon Europe--RED Spinel project, I took part in a panel discussion with Judge Iulia Motoc of the International Criminal Court. The event was moderated by Ramona Coman, Professor at ULB--Free University of Brussels. Discussants were Amandine Crespy and Paul Dermine from ULB. We had a stimulating debate about the future of democracy in Europe, how Europe is seen from the US, the role of the courts, and much more.
